A stately, long-lived deciduous conifer with soft, feathery green needles that turn rich copper-orange in fall before dropping. Naturally adapted to wet sites but surprisingly tolerant of drier soils once established. Develops a strong, pyramidal form with age and exceptional landscape presence.
