A highly prized Asian pear variety producing large, round, golden-brown fruit with a crisp, juicy texture and a sweet, aromatic flavor. 'Hosui' combines the crunch of an apple with the sweetness of a pear. Beautiful white blossoms in spring add ornamental value. Requires cross-pollination with another Asian pear variety for best yields.
