A fragrant, early-spring flowering shrub prized for its bright yellow blooms and spicy clove-like scent. ‘Spice It Up. ’ offers compact, tidy growth and excellent cold hardiness. The flowers appear before full leaf-out, providing early-season interest and an important nectar source for pollinators. Blue-black berries may follow and are attractive to birds.
