Sweet box is a low, evergreen shrub prized for its glossy dark green foliage and intensely fragrant flowers that bloom in late winter to early spring. The small, creamy-white blooms are easy to miss - but the perfume is unmistakable. This shade-loving shrub is perfect for foundation plantings, woodland gardens, and any spot where winter fragrance is appreciated.
