#3

Ranch elderberry is a vigorous, fruiting native shrub with large, flat clusters of creamy white flowers in early summer followed by heavy crops of dark purple-black berries. Flowers are excellent for pollinators, and the berries are widely used for syrups, jams, and baking (typically cooked before eating). A great choice for edible landscapes, native plantings, and naturalized areas.
