Short in stature but wide trailing, this beauty has appealing texture and soft needles that will easily endure brutal cold, intense heat, or the dubious climate of the seashore. This low growing and quick spreader is great as a groundcover or trailing over walls and offers appealing contrast in beds.  Tolerates dry soils well and even shrugs off road salt with nary a care.
