This outstanding selection combines the deep green foliage and large berries of Ilex opaca and compresses it into a dense, smaller pyramidal form that is perfect for the home landscape. Its dense form is accomplished without pruning and its berry set is immense needing only a strategically placed Ilex 'Blue Prince' to ensure outstanding fruit set. 'Red Beauty' is a true departure from the norm in hollies and one that deserves a prominent landscape spot either as a specimen or grouped to form hedge that will look formal with very little work.
